Knowles Logistics has added a DAF LF Electric truck to its fleet, along with six new tractor units.
The LF is the 11th electric vehicle operated by the company and will be utilised on collection and delivery routes supporting local pallet deliveries.
Knowles has also taken delivery of four new DAF XG 480 FTG and two DAF XG 530 FTG tractor units for long-distance trunking.
CEO Alex Knowles said: “This investment strengthens our fleet with the latest vehicle technology while supporting our wider sustainability goals.
“The electric DAF LF allows us to move more of our collection and delivery activity onto zero-emission vehicles, while the new DAF XG units provide the performance, efficiency and driver comfort required for our long-distance trunking operations.
“As a business we are committed to continually improving the efficiency and sustainability of our fleet as part of our long-term net zero journey.”
The vehicles were supplied by Kings Lynn-based DAF dealer Ford & Slater.
