Palletline said its partnership with carbon management experts Auditel had entered a new phase of carbon reduction delivery after it developed a methodology for capturing data last year.
It said this new phase would be supported by real-time data tracking and comprehensive Scope 1, 2 and 3 reporting.
Palletline added that this system allowed the network plus its members to identify, measure and act upon emissions across all of its operational areas, while calculating a carbon footprint per pallet.
It said it was also establishing a sustainability committee representing all business units, supported by internal communications, member engagement and continuous auditing of data collection.
Harpreet Sohal, director of business information at Palletline, said: “Our partnership with Auditel is built on evidence, not estimates.
“By combining verified data with practical decarbonisation strategies, we’re creating a clear, credible route to net carbon neutrality – not just at our hubs, but across the entire network.”
David McDonald, carbon specialist at Auditel, added: “Palletline’s proactive and data-driven approach sets a new benchmark for the logistics industry.
“By integrating carbon reduction into governance, procurement and culture, the business is proving that achieving net zero doesn’t have to cost the earth.”
