ChargePoint has released the latest version of its EV charging platform, which it said would be the catalyst for an electrified future.
The EV charging solutions provider said its ChargePoint Platform gave operators the ability to optimise any charging infrastructure, from a single site up to a global network, while enabling seamless integration with evolving energy systems.
The latest generation of the software offers AI-driven optimisation to analyse usage patterns, energy supply conditions and charging station health to improve charging schedules and predict maintenance needs.
Meanwhile, updated charging waitlist features manage EV charging demand and place drivers in virtual queues, notifying them when a station frees up.
Additional features include dynamic energy management, flexible pricing tools and a simplified onboarding experience.
Rick Wilmer, ChargePoint chief executive, said: “ChargePoint has manifested our deep expertise in EV charging to deliver the industry’s most advanced software platform, which is complemented by a robust hardware integration to enable our customers to accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility, regardless of what charger models they are operating in the field.”
