Wakefield operator C&L Transport Services has entered administration after a creditor attempted to wind up the business.
The haulier, which holds a standard international licence, appointed administrators at FRP Advisory on 23 February to provide a legal shield against the petition served on it in a Liverpool court.
The creditor was Crewe-based fuel card company UK Fuels and the petition was due to be heard on 3 March.
C&L Transport Services has been trading for over a decade and has two operating centres in Ossett, West Yorkshire.
Its licence authorises a total of 16 HGVs running out of the two depots.
The insolvency comes just days after Hampshire haulier WJ Bennet & Son fell into administration, with KRE Corporate Recovery moving to take control of the business.
FRP had not responded as we went to press.
