The HVS HGV is a ground-up designed heavy goods vehicle that incorporates advanced fuel cell technology. The HVS HGV is purpose-built around a fuel cell powertrain, optimising the efficiency and performance of the entire vehicle.

The vehicle utilises gaseous hydrogen as fuel, which is compressed at up to 700 bar. This high-pressure compression allows for efficient storage and utilisation of hydrogen. The refuelling time for the HVS HGV is approximately 15-20 minutes, enabling quick turnaround times for continuous operation.

At the core of the HVS HGV's powertrain is a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell system. This fuel cell technology generates electricity without producing CO2 emissions, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable transportation solution. Additionally, the HVS HGV offers medium and heavy eAxle options, delivering impressive power of up to 450kW, further enhancing its performance capabilities.
