The United Pallet Network (UPN) said it had marked a major milestone on its sustainability journey after achieving ISO 14001:2015 certification.

The global standard for environmental management systems proves organisations are managing their environmental impact responsibly while driving sustainability and compliance across operations.

It was certified following an audit by the accredited British Assessment Bureau and the network said this certification cemented its position as a leader in logistics that could deliver reliability and responsibility.

David Brown, UPN MD, said: “This certification is a proud achievement for UPN and a clear signal of our commitment to sustainability.”

The company’s sustainability lead, Joanna Davilla, added: “ISO 14001 proves that for UPN sustainability is not just a promise, it’s embedded into how we operate every day.

“Our members, customers, and partners can be confident that when they choose UPN, they’re choosing a business that takes its environmental responsibilities seriously.”
