Tiger Trailers’ finance director Ed Booth (pictured) has been promoted to MD of the wider group, with immediate effect.
Booth’s promotion sees Tiger Trailers’ founders, John and Steven Cartwright, move from their positions as joint MDs to sit as executive directors on the board alongside fellow founder David Williams.
The Winsford-based company, which employs 250 staff and manufactures articulated trailers, said the three founders will continue to work with Booth on a variety of strategic opportunities.

Booth, who joined Tiger Trailers in 2014 as finance director, said: “It’s a privilege to have been appointed as MD of a fast-growing firm that not only produces high quality products, after listening to its customers, but also one that cares for its people, supports charities, and proactively helps to keep people safe.
“I greatly look forward to working alongside Steven and John, David, and everyone within the company, to deliver further growth and benefit other groups over the next stages of our journey,” he added.
Steven Cartwright, founder and now executive director of Tiger Trailers, added: “John and I are delighted that Ed has been appointed as managing director at a time when the business we founded continues to experience unparalleled growth, entering new markets, launching new services and products, and increasingly working in the local community, which we are both very proud of.”
