Surfair Logistics has become a member of the United Pallet Network (UPN).
The Deryshire-based company, which operates across Europe and the UK, will be responsible for the LE postcode on behalf of UPN.
Surfair joined its former network, UK Pallets, in September last year, but is moving to UPN following the impending closure of the former.
Paul Cannon, MD of Surfair Logistics, said: “We are really pleased to have signed with UPN. The UPN culture is all about quality, partnership and performance. This is a perfect match for Surfair Logistics as by far our most significant point of difference as an operator is our people, their expertise, and their performance.”
“Being part of UPN means Surfair Logistics customers will now have access to the widest range of UK next day and economy services for palletised freight”, he continued. “They will also be able to send freight in the widest range of freight types, from 150kg up to 1,200kg per pallet.”
David Brown, MD of UPN, said: "The friendly, tight knit team at Surfair concentrate on delivering high levels of customer service. We are pleased to welcome Surfair into the UPN membership as their whole ethos is tied into our own, offering a high quality service to our members and customers.”
UPN currently has 80 members across Europe and the UK, with coverage througout 26 countries.
