Premier Logistics wins tasty deal with Blueberry Group

Premier Logistics has won a contract with the Blueberry Group to meet its palletised freight needs.

The company, based in Market Harbour, produces a range of ambient foods such as high end chocolates, biscuits and gift hampers.

As part of the 18-month contract, Premier will provide all of Blueberry’s palletised UK groupage.

Mark Steel, sales director at Premier, said: “A win of this significance against stiff competition is always satisfying.

“The fit of the two businesses is a very good match, we carry a great deal of ambient food products for other customers and our FMCG business continues to grow well.”

Blueberry Group’s MD, Laura Shears, said: “We are looking forward to working closely with Mark and the team at Premier. We have invested heavily this year in our customer offer and I believe that the service which Premier Logistics provides will enhance this further.”
