Palletline London’s contract with London Stone has been extended to cover goods being transported across the country.

The haulier said the expansion of its service, which involves transporting anything from natural stone and porcelain paving slabs to clay paving bricks, composite decking and metal pergolas, was down to its increased fleet availability, which allowed for more flexibility.

“Our expansive fleet of specialised vehicles make delivering London Stone’s heavyweight goods quick, safe and simple which in turn enable us to offer both our customers and our customer’s customer a best in class service,” said Ucal McLeod, Palletline London GM.

Palletline London’s 750kg pallet limit means loads can be moved safely particularly on terrain such as gravel driveways which are common on B2C deliveries.

Larger deliveries will be split between multiple vehicles to ensure safety standards are maintained.

Gavin Walley, director at London Stone, said Palletline London was one of the few businesses it had worked with that could match its dedication to customer service: “Above all else we like to keep the customer informed of what’s going on with their order, with Palletline London we can be sure their order is safe secure and will be delivered on time and in one piece,” he said.
