MAN has opened a new purpose-built dealership in Stockton-on-Tees, selling, supporting and maintaining its full range of vehicles.
Located close to the A135 - A66 dual carriageway junction, two miles from the A19, and 13 miles off the main A1, MAN Truck & Bus Stockton lies between the towns of Hartlepool, Middlesbrough and Darlington.
Jan Kohlmeier, MD of MAN Truck & Bus UK, said: “This is an exciting time for both the staff at the Stockton-on-Tees branch and the wider MAN Truck & Bus UK organisation.
“The new facility doubles the footprint of the existing Stockton site, offering customers a broader range of service solutions as well as increasing the workshop throughput, which translates to quicker and more efficient turnarounds for customers and vehicle service requirements.”
The new facility houses seven vehicle service and repair bays, one of these for EVs, and the necessary tooling to perform electric vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repair work.
MAN Truck & Bus Stockton branch manager Victoria Whitehouse said: “Being just half a mile from our previous location, where we’ve been operating for 34 years, means that we’ve been able to retain all our existing staff and skill sets.
