Stoke-On-Trent firm Dee Set Logistics has just taken delivery of the last of 11 new tri-axle box van trailers from Tiger Trailers.
All the units are fitted with the 'Tiger Tails’ aerodynamic option, which includes a front air splitter and rear sloping roof. The trailers also feature Tiger’s paint-free galvanised chassis and body option and high-impact nylon corner cappings.
This is the second order Tiger has had from Dee Set – its first being for five step-frame trailers with hydraulic moving decks and aerodynamic front roof profiles, which were delivered in January.
The order was announced just as Tiger Trailers – formed after a family split at rival Cartwright Group – reached its first manufacturing anniversary.
By the end of this year more than 1,000 Tiger trailers will have entered service, said the firm.
