Moran Logistics is celebrating after it was awarded three ‘AA’ grades in the BRCGS Storage and Distribution standard for three of its sites.
The company said it was delighted after achieving the top grading in the audits for its depots in Heywood, Leeds and Castle Donington.
Chief executive Mark Burrell (pictured) said it was all down to the team for their “massive efforts, put in every day, keeping the very highest standards of operation.”

Moran’s Leeds site, which also conducts a chilled co-packing operation, was an unannounced audit and Burrell said it was “an outstanding achievement” to have obtained the coveted AA Plus certification.
Neil Fairbrother, the firm’s head of QHSE, said: “Moran has always been deeply proud of their record in quality assurance and health and safety – but the initiatives we have witnessed recently show just how these things run through the heart of our business.”
