Insurance provider Auto Legal Protection Services (Alps) has launched an HGV motor breakdown policy, providing nationwide rapid roadside assistance for vehicles over 7.5-tonnes.
Delivered in partnership with Call Assist, a Which? trusted trader for roadside recovery and underwritten by Collinson Insurance, the policy offers two levels of cover: local cover and base assist and UK nationwide and base assist.
Alps said policies started from £305 and gave policyholders round-the-clock access to a dedicated recovery operator and coverage including 180 minutes of roadside and base assistance; recovery for the vehicle, passengers and any attached trailers within a 20-mile radius; alternative public transport or hire car expenses and misfuel assistance and alternative accommodation and associated expenses.
