Construction equipment manufacturer JCB has renewed a deal with Norbert Dentressangle to manage delivery of aftermarket parts to a network of over 100 dealer depots.
The three-year, multi-million pound contract involves evening collection of parts in pre-packed pallet boxes from JCB’s World Parts Centre in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire and trunking into ND’s depot network by a dedicated vehicle fleet. This is followed by overnight delivery via ND’s shared user fleet to dealers five nights a week.
Norbert Dentressangle has recently invested in a new aerodynamic high-cube trailer (pictured) pulled by a Euro-6 Mercedes-Benz Actros tractive unit, to manage increased volumes coming out of JCB’s World Parts Centre.
As part of the contract, JCB is given real-time access to delivery data and POD records via ND’s bespoke order-tracking web portal.
