The company, which has its headquarters in Bolton, chose Nottinghamshire for its central location. It added that the new base will help the company expand its next day groupage services to the island of Ireland from the East Midlands and South Yorkshire region and develop new transport operator partnerships.
Managing director James Wood (pictured), said: "This is a very exciting time for IFS. The new Nottingham base will help us to stay even closer to customers and develop new transport operator partnerships to maintain our reputation as a hands-on, customer-focused business covering a much larger geography.”
