Aftermarket parts supplier Sampa UK & Ireland said it had secured a £1m funding package to boost its manufacturing capabilities.

The funding from HSBC UK will be used to expand its fleet of same-day delivery vans, enhance delivery options and invest in its logistics and distribution network.

Sampa added that it has plans to extend into the Midlands, Sheffield, Scotland and Dublin and it should create 100 jobs across a range of roles.

The HSBC UK funding will also support the development of new product lines, helping it strengthen its position in the commercial vehicle parts sector.

Kemal Kahraman, MD at Sampa UK & Ireland, said: “This funding from HSBC UK will play a crucial role as we expand into new markets across the UK.

“The investment will allow us to strengthen our operations, expand our presence in the UK and Ireland, and create new employment opportunities, all whilst ultimately benefiting our diverse customer base.”

Established in 1994, Sampa UK & Ireland manufacturers over 20,000 products for heavy-duty commercial vehicles across 24 product categories.
