XPO has been awarded the EcoVadis gold medal for its sustainability performance for the second year running.
The business said it had achieved a score of 82 out of 100, placing it in the 98th percentile among all EcoVadis-rated companies – the top 2% globally.
The recognition also places XPO Logistics Europe among the top 1% in its industry, demonstrating continuous improvement in environmental, social, and governance practices, while reinforcing customer confidence in responsible supply chains.
EcoVadis is a provider of business sustainability ratings, used by more than 700 multinational companies to evaluate suppliers.
The gold medal reflects XPO Logistics’ performance across all four EcoVadis pillars: environment, labour and human rights, sustainable procurement and ethics.
Since 2019, XPO Logistics Europe said it had reduced its Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 20% – already ahead of its 2030 target.
Guillaume Col, president – Europe, XPO Logistics, said: “As I begin my journey leading XPO Logistics in Europe, I am proud to celebrate this recognition with our 14,000 colleagues.
“EcoVadis Gold reflects the commitment of our teams to operate responsibly and transparently. This is not only a result of past efforts, but also a strong foundation to accelerate our growth with customers who value sustainable supply chains.”
