Fleet charging network Paua has partnered with Milence in order to integrate its high-power charging network for electric lorries into its platform.
It said the collaboration meant businesses operating electric trucks could now access Milence’s high-performance charging hubs using Paua’s charging platform.
Paua said that together with other HGV charging sites such as Gridserve, Instavolt and EuroGarage, its customers could have increased confidence to switch to zero-emission lorries.
Milence, a joint venture between Daimler Truck, the Traton Group, and Volvo Group, operates 16 locations across Europe, including one operational site in the UK at Immingham.
Each site is dedicated to truck charging, is equipped with high power chargers and is 100% renewable powered.
Niall Riddell, chief executive and co-founder of Paua, said: “This partnership with Milence is a game-changer for the UK’s logistics and transport sector.
“By bringing electric truck charging into our platform, we are making it easier than ever for businesses to transition to zero-emission transport.
“Our vision is to remove the barriers to EV adoption, and this collaboration is a key milestone in that journey.”
