The FTA is hosting a series of seminars on the second day of the Multimodal show next week.
Speakers from the likes of Sainsbury’s, The Co-operative, Lafarge and Peel Ports are due to participate in the association’s seminars, which take place on Wednesday 29 April.
Topics include measuring your carbon footprint, the agenda for more rail freight, making the shift to moving freight by water, new container weight regulations, and reducing the environmental impact and cost of your warehouse.
FTA’s director of global and European policy, Chris Welsh, said: “The Multimodal show provides a great opportunity to bring customers and suppliers together.
"We are delighted to once again provide a series of topical seminars, including an update on key regulatory measures that will impact the logistics chain over the next 12 months and to exchange best practice, and steps currently in progress to enhance the sustainability of freight and logistics supply chains.”
Operators down to exhibit at the show include Potter Logistics, Miniclipper Logistics, Russell Group, Malcolm Group and Howard Tenens.
