Logistics UK teams up with BearingPoint to make CO2 emissions reporting simpler

The Emissions Reporting for Transport service is available to all Logistics UK members and is designed to support their journey to net zero and regulatory compliance, while meeting their customers’ sustainability requirements. The service uses BearingPoint’s carbon management solution to provides CO2 emission data.

Launching the service this week, Logistics UK said that the Emissions Reporting for Transport service provides information on CO2 emissions data in an easily accesible format, which is particularly useful where smaller suppliers lack capacity or resources to be able to supply this information.

Al Richardson, Logistics UK head of membership and affinities, said: “Our members recognise the long-term benefits of carbon reporting and understand the need to measure CO2 emissions to provide trusted records that their decarbonisation plans are effective.
