Parcel delivery firm Evri has teamed up with Leeds-born Matt Jameson of Married at First Sight fame, to raise funds for a local LGBT+ charity Out Together, which raises awareness for the LGBT+ community.

The bake sale saw Evri staff showcase their culinary skills, bringing an array of baked goods to be judged by Jameson and other senior members at Evri.

During the event, which raised over £1,500, Jameson also shared the story behind the charity he established and its mission to promote inclusivity, support LGBT+ individuals and foster a sense of unity within the community.

In addition to the bake sale, Evri’s staff have been celebrating Pride Month, which ran for the whole of June, with a number of initiatives, including pronoun badges being made available at all sites and other fundraising activities at the Morley head office.

Evri colleagues will also be taking part in Leeds Pride on 6 August, organised by the company’s newly formed LGBTQ+ colleague-led network.
