EV Cargo has appointed former commercial director at Fowler Welch, Martin Davies, to the newly created role of operations director.
Davies will oversee all key operational activities, including managed transportation, fleet performance, carrier management, contract logistics as well as health and safety.
As well as his post at Fowler Welch, he has also had senior roles at Bidvest 3663 and Palmer and Harvey.
EV Cargo Solutions chief executive Andy Humpherson said: “Martin is an exceptional addition to our leadership team to enhance our ability to deliver quality integrated logistics solutions combining capacity and agility.
“The Solutions division supports the wider EV Cargo business and having someone of Martin’s insight and experience to lead our operations will help us deliver our strategic plans and excellent customer solutions.”
