Europa Air & Sea has opened a hi-tech office in Shanghai’s Minhang district, highlighting China’s importance as one of the UK’s largest import trading partners.
The expansion and move into a larger space comes three-and-a-half years after Europa established its first Shanghai office and two years after it opened its second local office in Shenzhen.
The company said its latest investment reflected its accelerating growth across China’s major export hubs and increasing demand for high-quality international logistics.
Angus Hind, Europa Air & Sea director, said: “Shipment volumes have continued to climb, with 2025 expected to bring a 26% year-on-year increase.
“This is clear evidence of our strength and resilience amid a challenging global landscape.
“With our excellent local team driving extraordinary growth, moving into a larger, more prestige, high-tech office environment was a necessary next step.”
Europa’s growth highlights the strength of trade currently between China and this country and remains the UK’s third-largest import trading partner, importing £67.3bn of goods.
