Logistics recruitment specialist Employ Recruitment has acquired Andover-based Drivers Relief in a move aimed at strengthening its client base and coverage.
Drivers Relief, which was launched in 1987, supplies clients in Andover, Amesbury and Salisbury with supply drivers. The family-run recruitment firm has a reputation for retaining both clients and drivers for the long term.
Employ Recruitment, which is based in the Midlands and boasts a national reach, said it was also attracted to the Andover agency because of its attention to compliance.
Both companies use Driver Recruitment Software (DRS) to manage driver recruitment and ensure compliance on areas such as the Working Time Directive and EU Drivers’ Hours legislation.
Following the acquisition, the Drivers Relief team, including current MD Jamie Stamp, son of founding director Fiona Stamp, will remain within the business.
