One of the only Volvo FH Sweeper trucks in the UK has been delivered to DG Sweeper Hire in North Wales.

The high spec 420 4x2 rigid was supplied by Thomas Hardie Commercials after the company failed to be impressed by another manufacturer.

Equipped with road sweeping bodywork from Bucher Municipal, the FH features full air suspension and is finished in metallic grey. It is expected to be in operation six days a week.

Daniel Griffith, DG Sweeper Hire owner, said: “We wanted something that would stand out from the crowd and draw attention when it’s out on the road. This FH fits the bill perfectly, we’re hoping it will help us attract new customers and impress our current ones.

“The new truck takes our rental fleet up to four sweepers now; they are all Volvos and have never let us down.

“We wanted the FH to be our flagship vehicle and it certainly hasn’t disappointed,” he added.
