A Crewe-based haulage company has entered administration, putting into doubt around 27 jobs.

Insolvency practitioners at Dow Schofield Watts in Warrington were appointed to NLH Logistics on 17 March.

The haulier holds a licence authorising 15 HGVs and five trailers running out of a Marshfield Bank operating centre.

No-one from was available when motortransport.co.uk called the company and Dow Schofield Watts did not respond.

However, NLH Logistics’ website said it had been providing a personalised pallet service since 1991 and offered same day, next day and international deliveries.

It also operated a 50,000sq ft warehouse for customers’ storage needs.

“NLH is a family run company based in Cheshire, where we have warehousing facilities for the storage and distribution of our freight,” its website said.

“We have a fleet of vehicles to meet all your transportation requirements from envelopes to pallets, part loads to full loads.”

The haulier’s last available set of accounts, for the year ending 31 January 2022, showed that it employed around 27 staff, an increase from 21 in the previous year.
