Commercial vehicle hire firm Burnt Tree has been integrated into Enterprise Flex-E-Rent– the UK commercial vehicle division of Enterprise Rent-A-Car - a year after it was bought by the business.
Enterprise has been running Burnt Tree as a separate business since the acquisition, while the management team implemented an integration programme.
The reformation of both businesses under the Enterprise Flex-E-Rent brand, said the company, marks the final stage of this process.
Burnt Tree’s 21 locations across the UK will be rebranded under the new name, while new vehicles will feature a newly commissioned livery.
The newly integrated Enterprise Flex-E-Rent will run a combined fleet of more than 25,000 commercial vans and trucks, with a team of more than 450 employees.
The company said the purchase was "intended to increase the breadth of vehicles and services that Enterprise can provide to its customers under its flexible commercial vehicle hire division, Flex-E-Rent."
Enterprise Flex-E-Rent MD Danny Glynn said: “The past 12 months have been essential to enable the cultures of these two businesses to come together.
“Our vision was to combine the skills of both sets of employees to create a business that was stronger and could deliver an even better service to all our customers. We believe we have achieved that, have a great team in place and look forward to working with our customers moving forwards as Enterprise Flex-E-Rent.”
