Grain, feed and aggregate haulier Adstock Bulk Solutions has entered administration after almost 13 years of trading.

The bulk tipper company had not responded as we went to press but records showed it appointed administrators from SFP on 5 February.

Running out of a Singleborough, Milton Keynes operating centre, the haulier holds an international licence for 22 HGVs and 22 trailers.

Adstock was founded in 2012, starting off with two lorries and according to its website it transported over 500,000 tonnes of products last year.

It described itself as a privately owned and personally run bulk haulage company and was signed up to the trade assurance scheme for combinable crops (TASCC), as well as being FORS Bronze accredited and its drivers all MPQC qualified.

In 2023 it employed 26 staff.

Adstock has become one of the first businesses in the sector to enter administration this year, although Motor Transport revealed last week that data indicated failure rates within freight haulage was falling.
