Pollock (Scotrans) boosted pre-tax profit last year despite a fall in revenues brought about by “challenging” conditions created by the Covid-19 pandemic. After unveiling double-digit rises in turnover and profit, Turners (Soham) has continued on the upward curve by securing a new five-year contract with Omya UK, one of the country’s leading producers of calcium carbonate.
