Oxfordshire domestic and commercial delivery haulier Swiftcare UK has called in the administrators after 30 years of trading.
The freight firm, which specialises in transporting white goods and furniture as well as overseeing the logistics of commercial re-fits, appointed Opus Restructuring to handle its affairs earlier this month.
It holds a standard national operator licence authorising nine lorries and two trailers running out of a base in the village of Charlton near Banbury.
Office of the traffic commissioner records showed that the surrender of this licence is currently up for consideration.
Its last set of accounts revealed that in 2023 it employed around 49 staff, down from 54 the year before.
Swiftcare’s website said that it began in 2004 and in recent years it had taken on an additional 50,000sq ft of warehousing space to help with the continued expansion of contract work to the residential and commercial sectors.
The company declined to comment when Motor Transport contacted it for further details.
Opus had not responded as we went to press.
