Scania delivers Norway’s largest electric truck to limestone quarry, reducing CO2 emissions by 156 tonnes

Scania has delivered Norway’s largest electric truck to the Verdalskalk limestone quarry in Verdal, as part of its Pilot Partner programme. The truck has a total weight of 66 tonnes and will transport around 120,000 tonnes of lime annually from the quarry to the port for shipment, reducing CO2 emissions by 156 tonnes.
