Montgomery Transport has been revealed as the first Northern Ireland-based haulier to be accredited for the DVSA’s Earned Recognition scheme. The DVSA’s Earned Recognition scheme has finally moved into its pilot stage after a protracted build up.
The DVSA has given management software firm Convey Technology the seal of approval to supply Earned Recognition (ER) technology to fleet operators.
Earned Recognition operators will be given a 12-month MOT exemption on their HGVs and trailers as the DVSA tries to ease a huge bottleneck.
