Arcese UK said it expects 2013 to remain as flat as 2012, despite posting a 77% increase in pre-tax profit in 2012.
The acquisition of Framptons Transport Services by Gregory Distribution (Holdings) boosted the latter’s pre-tax profit by 25% in 2015.
Expect Distribution has blamed a fall in profit on its loss-making two-man delivery service, which ceased operating in May last year, but said that new deals in its contract logistics business will get it back on track.
