Culina Group firm iForce is working with socks and sportswear brand Gain the Edge to provide them with “cutting edge” fulfilment services.

The clothing business said its previous partner was unable to keep pace with the speed of its growth and so it turned to iForce to provide a rapid and seamless transition, including website integration, stock extraction and receipting.

It also utilised autonomous mobile robots (AMR) on the contract. Based at iForce Corby, the company said it was the UK’s first installation of this warehouse automation solution.

iForce chief executive Paul Thirkell said: “We’re thrilled to be facilitating Gain the Edge’s remarkable growth with our cutting-edge AMR technology.

“This solution will provide them with both the scalability and efficiency needed to excel in today’s e-commerce landscape.

“iForce are achieving a 99.98% fulfilment rate for Gain the Edge,” he added.

“This is allowing them to focus on growing their business and not be distracted with logistics and warehousing issues.”

Tom Wallis, Gain the Edge chief executive and founder, said: “It was a critical decision for our business, we needed a change but were understandably apprehensive about potential disruption.
