Fowler Welch has secured a new contract with Wensleydale Creamery, makers of Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese.
Fowler Welch will provide the cheesemaker with bulk storage for its maturing cheese, as well as distribution services between two of its manufacturing sites in Hawes and near Ripon, North Yorkshire.
The new contract was awarded following a full tender process after the customer identified a need for storage of approximately 1500 pallets split between ambient and temperature-controlled environments.
Fowler Welch’s BRC accredited facility in Washington (AA standard) has the capacity to store and distribute both temperature regimes under one roof.
