WHS Plastics has spent £3.5m turning three warehouses into one state-of-the-art national distribution centre in order to provide logistics solutions to customers including Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).
The 75,000 sq ft Minworth, Sutton Coldfield site has also created 11 jobs with plans to employ more staff in the future.
WHS Plastics said the distribution centre, which includes the latest warehouse management system, overseeing the stockholding and inbound and outbound movements, as well as semi-autonomous forklift trucks, would serve UK and international markets, grow market share and open up new business opportunities.
The company, which also has operations in Runcorn and Cairo, recently manufactured 100,000 plastic visors with JLR.
