Logistics firm Surrey Pallitz is gunning for growth after moving to larger premises that are closer to Gatwick airport and its customer base.
The Pall-Ex member has re-located from Hackbridge, Surrey to a secure 62-acre site on Hobbs Industrial Estate in Lingfield.
The company said will benefit future growth by being closer to Gatwick airport and in a location which better reflects its customer base across Surrey, Sussex and Kent.
The new purpose built facility has a 20,000ft² of yard, warehouses and modern office buildings on a security patrolled site.
The family firm, which launched as Pallitz in Charlwood, Surrey in 1986, merged with Surrey Pallitz in Croydon in 2005.
It runs a fleet of ten trucks and five trailers and specialises in palletised freight distribution, as well as providing storage services and full load deliveries.
Chris Pleece, Surrey Pallitz MD, said: “Surrey Pallitz has grown, thanks in part to our successful partnership with Pall-Ex, and it is now fantastic to be able to bring our clients to a facility we can be proud of.”
Pall-Ex group MD Kevin Buchanan said the move to larger premises was “testament to the hard work, quality of service and customer care that Surrey Pallitz provide every single day of the year.”
