Notts-haulier Seafield Logistics has won a two and a half year contract with floor screed manufacturer Lafarge Gyvlon.
The win adds to Seafield’s contract with Gyvlon to distribute its products to Ireland, which it has held since July 2011. The new contract will also see Seafield add five vehicles and trailers to its bulk tanker fleet.
Under the terms of the contract Seafield will be required to complete timed deliveries out of Gyvlon’s Runcorn, Cheshire site using a dedicated fleet of non-tipping tankers with a payload of 30 tonnes.
Gyvlon expects it will require Seafield to distribute more than 50,000 tonnes of commercial and domestic flooring annually; the figure it sold last year.
