Industry decarbonisation will be firmly in the spotlight at next month’s Road Transport Expo.
Exhibitors will be bringing along their latest vehicle ranges aimed at helping operators reduce the carbon impact of their fleets, including electric, hydrogen and bio-fuelled trucks.
All eight major HGV OEMs will be in attendance – DAF, Isuzu Truck, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Renault Trucks, Scania and Volvo - alongside industry newcomers such as HVS, Sany eTrucks and Volta Commercial Vehicles.
There will also be insightful sessions over in the RTX Knowledge Zone to help you understand the policy and pathway the road transport sector is following towards a net zero future.
Two lively ‘Big Debate: Future Truck’ sessions will be held on days one and two of the show, which give you the opportunity to hear from leading truck OEMs about their technology focus.
You can also put your questions to the DfT’s Bob Moran in a lunchtime fireside chat session and learn more about the government’s Zero-Emission HGV and Infrastructure Demonstrator programme from Innovate UK and the project partners involved.
On day three, we’ll be running a dedicated session focusing on making the switch to today’s renewable fuels, in partnership with the Renewable Transport Fuels Association, as well as a focus on tyre technology and its role in the HGVs of the future.
Now in its third year, the award-winning Road Transport Expo 2024 takes place from 4-6 June at NAEC Stoneleigh, Warwickshire. It’s completely free to attend, so why not check out the full conference programme, explore the 250-plus exhibitors and register for your entry ticket today?
