Pall-Ex Poland has opened a new central hub in the city of Lodz, which it said would increase the network’s efficiency and supports its ambition to ramp up pallet volumes.
Around 140km from the country’s capital Warsaw, Pall-Ex said Lodz, which is seen as the traditional centre of the Polish textile industry, had become a favoured location for logistics companies operating in Poland and Eastern Europe.
The company said the hub provides more space and transhipment docks and will aid its plans to increase pallet volumes to more than 500,000 in 2023.
Pall-Ex Poland MD Piotr Koltuniak said: “Our new hub is a fantastic improvement over our previous facility in Skierniewice, meaning we can now really push on with our growth strategy.”
