Pall-Ex and Fortec member Synergix Logistics Solutions has migrated from Iver in Buckinghamshire to a new site in Reading as the business continues to grow.
Synergix, which specialises in pallet network deliveries through Pall-Ex and Fortec, general haulage, same-day deliveries and storage and fulfilment, has made the move to a larger site at Suttons Business Park in Reading.
The new premises boast approximately 47,000 square feet of built-to-specification warehousing and office space and a yard that is 100% bigger than the old site, allowing for more vehicles to be handled at once and quicker turnaround times for cross-dock activities.
Key consideration was given to the company’s environmental impact, with over 250 solar panels installed on the roof to power its operation, improving energy efficiency and reducing its carbon footprint.
The site is located just off Junction 10 of the M4 with distribution links into central London and across the South of England.
To coincide with the move, Synergix has added six new vehicles to its fleet to support its pallet network activities.
By replacing old kit and providing additions to the fleet, Synergix now runs 34 vehicles across its two sites.
These new vehicles are fully DVS 2024 compliant and run off HVO as part of the company’s commitment to sustainability.
Anthony Champness, director and co-owner said: “To keep pace with our growth and ensure we can provide our customers and staff with the very best services and facilities, we have relocated our head office to Suttons Business Park in Reading.
“Extending our truck fleet also supports our desire for continued growth. We chose DAF as a leader in the vehicle sector, notably offering market-leading uptime.
“This adds value to our pallet network services, dedicated loads and same-day, and complements our storage and fulfilment offering. Choosing the right supplier is fundamental to providing the very best for our customers.”
