EM Rogers reported “another successful performance” last year, with pre-tax profits increasing by almost 29% to £1.6m.

Turnover at the international car transport haulier fell slightly in the year ending 31 January 2026, from £30.5m in 2025 to £30.3m, but operating profit increased by 30% to £1.6m and gross profit climbed to £6.1m.

The company described its results as a great achievement within an economic environment that continued to be challenging: “The directors are pleased that as a business everyone involved has embraced the environment we are operating in and still managed to generate new opportunities and keep any pressure on the margins being achieved to a minimum,” it said.

“The directors are confident in trade continuing in the same way during the year ahead. Whilst the recent change in government and changes in the economy on areas such as interest rates will bring additional challenges, it will also bring opportunities, the company has previously been agile in its approach, taking advantage of opportunities as they arise and the directors expect this to continue in the future.”

In April, the haulier announced that joint MD David Rogers had died and hailed him as a “true legend” who played a central role in the success of the company for over 50 years.

In its latest accounts, EM Rogers added: “He leaves behind a lasting legacy within the business, having made a valued contribution over many years.

“The reaction and understanding of everyone in the business and connected to the business was a true testament to David and the family would like to thank everyone for their support.”
