West Midlands-based JJX Logistics has expanded and enhanced its distressed load management service to better support supply chains across the UK and Ireland.
The company provides a specialist logistics service giving emergency support when a shipment becomes compromised in transit or upon delivery.
This can include goods that have shifted during transport, been damaged, rejected by the consignee or fallen out of specification due to handling errors.
JJX Logistics can provide immediate assessment, goods rework and next day re-delivery options and has now upgraded its service to be able to respond even more swiftly when companies suffer load issues.
Announcing the upgrade, JJX Logistics said: “From damaged goods and broken pallets to mislabelled stock, supply chain disruptions can result in costly delays. JJX’s updated service is designed to respond swiftly and efficiently when things go wrong, ensuring that freight keeps moving.”
The newly enhanced offering includes fixing labelling issues; re-wrapping and repairing pallets; re-delivering goods quickly and safely, and extended coverage via a new location in Co. Dublin. This allows JJX’s 24/7 response team to respond swiftly, minimising downtime and reducing waste.
The service includes documenting and photographing evidence, organising complete stock reconciliation, and offering professional re-packing using high-grade materials.
The team can also arrange re-delivery to the final destination or return to sender.
The company added: “Whether your load has been refused at a retailer’s RDC or compromised en route with another carrier, JJX steps in to restore order quickly with full transparency for you and your end customer, combining responsive action with detailed reporting, enabling your business to recover without delay.”
