Family-run haulier Dash Express is to join Palletways UK network from next month and has recruited 15 staff to support the new pallet business.

The Redruth-based company has logistics centres in Exeter, Redruth and Plymouth, providing a range of wholesale and logistics services including parcel delivery, storage, e-commerce and fulfilment.

Dash Express will begin operating as a Palletways member from February, supporting customers from its Hill Barton Business Park base in Exeter.

The partnership boosts Palletways’ palletised freight delivery services in the south west and expands Dash Express’ offering further north within the region.

Paul Dash, Dash Express operations director, said: “Joining Palletways gives us an excellent opportunity to grow our business by adding cost effective palletised transport options to our parcel delivery services.

“Partnering with Palletways unlocks growth opportunities for Dash Express thanks to its wide geographical footprint. We’ve had great interest from our customers in these new services already, which is very positive.

“Our ambition is to become the single regional point of contact for parcels and pallets across the whole of the south west of England. Palletways has a great reputation in the industry as being the biggest and the best network and we look forward to working with them.”
