Dash Logistix, the logistics arm of South West-based The Dash Group, has won the Palletways Newcomer of the Year Awards after impressing the pallet network with its outstanding performance.
The company, which has its headquarters in Redruth and depots in Exeter and Plymouth, impressed the judges with its high service standards and dedication, Palletways UK said.
The victory was announced during the recent annual Palletways UK conference and awards evening held at Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire.
The awards were presented by Rob Gittins, Palletways UK MD.
Commenting on the awards, Gittins said: “The annual member awards provide an opportunity for all of our members to come together and celebrate their achievements.
“Dash Logistix has made a real impression having only joined the network in February this year, setting a high standard from day one in terms of input and service.
“Congratulations on a well-deserved win – we look forward to seeing how Dash Logistix continues to grow and flourish within the network.”
Dash Logistix recently recruited 16 new staff, including new group commercial manager, Brian Fisher, to support its new pallet business.
Paul Dash, operations director at The Dash Group, said: “We’re over the moon to have received this award, especially being so new to the Palletways network and having only just launched our new pallet business.
“We’re excited to continue our success, delivering top levels of service across the South West and beyond.”
The Dash Group is a family-led firm based in the South West, which specialises in logistics and distribution, vehicle rental and sales and vehicle hire
