ArrowXL has won a three-year contract expanding its relationship with garden furniture wholesaler Mercer Agencies.

The new deal means the two-person home delivery firm will continue to supply Mercer’s stores but it will now also enable retail customers to expand their wholesale stock business into the ‘direct to consumer’ arena.

Hayley McAlinden, business development manager at Mercer Agencies explained: “Previously due to logistics, it was difficult to navigate shipping large garden furniture sets direct to customers from our main warehouse just outside of Belfast to the mainland, which had a negative effect on the business and customers with limitations on our catalogue offering.

“We are now able to offer our entire catalogue across both garden and Christmas categories to all our mainland UK and Northern Ireland customers,” she said.

“With Arrow’s established delivery systems and processes for warehousing we have improved our customers’ experience and will be able to expand our product range beyond seasonal and garden furniture.”
