A UK-based transport and logistics company that specialises in nationwide vehicle movements has collapsed into administration.

Lutterworth, Leicestershire-based Mallock filed its intention to appoint administrators last month before insolvency experts at Exigen Group took control of the freight transport company on 12 June.

Vehicle operator licensing records show the business holds a standard national licence authorising 36 lorries and five trailers running out of an operating centre on the Blaby industrial estate in Bruntingthorpe.

Its last filed set of accounts showed that it employed 66 staff, down from 88 in 2024.

It is understood the haulier was involved in the delivery and collection of cars and vans across the country, as well as general haulage.

Calls to the administrator went unanswered.

June also saw the administration of long-standing transport firm Gradewell Plant & Haulage in St Albans, with all staff made redundant.
