A digital cargo insurance specialist has partnered with transport management system provider Realm Realtime to integrate insurance directly into the shipment creation process.
The integration enables every shipment created within the Realm Realtime platform, called Oppi, to automatically generate an insurance quotation from Breeze, which freight forwarders can choose to accept and issue a policy with just one click.
Matthew Phillips, CCO at Breeze, explained: “Cargo insurance has not kept pace with the digital transformation of freight forwarding, and we believe it should be as easy to arrange as creating a shipment.
“Our partnership with Realm Realtime embeds insurance directly into the freight forwarding workflow, reducing manual administration and making it easier for businesses to insure more shipments.
“Better data and automation simplify the process, reduce the risk of errors, and help freight forwarders move cargo with greater confidence.”
The partnership is available to all Realm Realtime users, regardless of whether they have previously arranged cargo insurance through Breeze.
