Freight forwarding firm Greencarrier Freight Services has opened a new office near Manchester as it moves to strengthen its operations in the north of England.
The office, which became fully operational on 4 January, is situated at Manchester Airport.
Adrian Frodsham, head of air and ocean, said: “The new office provides good opportunities for growth in both imports and exports and brings us much closer to the market and to our customers.
“Many industries export large volumes from here, giving us a good basis for growing the pipeline and for future growth through increased local commercial efforts and in collaboration with our global Greencarrier network."
Chris Hunt, Greencarrier Freight Services UK MD, added: “The opening of our new office is in line with our business strategy and will strengthen our position in the UK.
“It's also in line with our high ambitions to grow the UK market."
This is the third UK office opened by the company, which also has offices in Ipswich and Immingham.
